The IDIOMS project developed and disseminated software to support automatic, adaptive cataloguing, searching and notification about information resources and services on the Scottish MANs. A Harvest indexing service has been set up for all 18 Scottish HEIs linked by the MANs. Resource discovery software was further developed and disseminated to keep MAN users well informed about the information and services available.
