This project was a joint collaboration between the Universities of St Andrews, Dundee and Abertay Dundee, and Nothern College (Dundee). As a result of this project, a common network management system has been implemented which provides comprehensive management tools for the FaTMAN and for the members’ campus networks. The network management software used offers distributed network management with automatic fallback in the event of failure of the primary NMS server.
